Product description
Seal-Guard sealant for joints and tiles in a spray can is the first product of its kind in the field of impregnation that is supplied in a handy spray can. This impregnation has been specially developed for easy sealing of joints between tiles. It is quick-drying and easy to use. If you accidentally spray the impregnating agent on the surrounding tiles, this is not a problem. The product dries invisibly and leaves no discolouration or film on the treated surface.
Seal-Guard Sealant in a handy 400ml spray can is easy to use in:
Bathrooms: for joints, tiles, putty and plasterwork.
For moisture problems and to prevent mold, dirty joints and limescale.
Kitchens: countertop or back wall near the cooking area.
Natural stone floors, natural stone countertops, natural stone strips, and other natural stone surfaces.
Ceramic tiles and joints.
Concrete and terrazzo surfaces.
Other tile and masonry surfaces.
The world's first aerosol sealant seals both dry and damp joints between glazed ceramic tiles. Refinishing the adjacent tiles is no problem. This is because Seal-Guard is invisible after application and does not cause haze, yellowing or discoloration. You can use this Seal-Guard product on damp surfaces. This has the advantage that you can use the spray can on a damp tile joint after 20 minutes. Something special in the industry. This product can also be used to prevent the formation of mold on silicone sealant in shower corners. Seal-Guard Sealant Spray Can prevents stains, dirty grout, mold and limescale, making cleaning your bathroom easier. This impregnating agent was awarded the prestigious title “Best New Product for the Tile Industry†by the Australian Tile Council in 2003.
How do you use the Seal-Guard Sealant in Aerosol?
The surface to be treated must be be cleaned thoroughly before application. Clean the tiles and grout thoroughly and remove all soap residue and any mold spots. If you use an aggressive cleaning agent, rinse the surface to be treated thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues of the cleaning agent. To remove mold, use a product that is suitable for the surface. To remove soap residue and general contamination, we recommend using the Seal-Guard All Clean.
Test in advance on an inconspicuous spot to see whether the Seal-Guard Spray Can is suitable for the surface in question. This product from Seal-Guard can be used on damp surfaces. This has the advantage that you can use the spray can on a damp tile joint after 20 minutes. When the surface is dry or when sufficient time has been allowed after grouting, impregnation can begin. Hold the spray can approximately 15 to 20 cm away from the surface and move the spray can back and forth while spraying. Allow a curing time of 2.5 hours after application. In humid environments such as shower corners and the like, the sealant must dry for at least 24 hours before the surface can be used again.

Seal-Guard Sealant Spray Can is suitable for indoors and outdoors.
This Seal-Guard Spray Can is suitable for use on indoor surfaces and outside. In addition, all Seal-Guard impregnation agents are breathable and do not contain silicone. This means you can apply this impregnating agent to damp surfaces shortly after laying a floor or grouting. This has the advantage that you do not have to wait weeks or months before impregnating. This is in contrast to many other products on the market.
How long does the treated surface remain intact?
With proper maintenance of all treated surfaces, Seal-Guard Sealant will remain intact for years. Surfaces that are used intensively, such as tiled floors, should be checked annually and, if necessary, provided with a new protective layer. For proper maintenance, we recommend using Seal-Guard products such as Stone Clean.
Do the Seal-Guard products change the appearance, color or texture of my tiles, or do they look like they are wet?< line break>No! All Seal-Guard products are sealants that penetrate the pores of grout, tile and stone surfaces. These sealants do not leave residue on the surface and do not require wiping off like silicone-based products. The treated surface looks exactly the same, the color and texture remain the same because the agent dries invisibly. The gloss level, the coefficient of friction and the smoothness of the surface are not changed by Seal-Guard.
I used Seal-Guard in my shower corner and now the silicone sealant does not adhere. What can I do now?
If a surface has already been treated with Seal-Guard before the sealant takes place, it is quite possible that the silicone sealant will no longer want to adhere afterwards. The best thing to do is apply the silicone sealant first and then apply the Seal-Guard sealant on top of that. If you have already treated the surface with Seal-Guard, you must first remove it before applying the silicone sealant. First use a generous amount of turpentine. Then rinse well with plenty of water, scrub with a brush and clean with a cloth. Apply the silicone sealant to the cleaned surface. As soon as the surface is dry, you can start sealing again.
