Lithofin MN Hardstone Protection (Protector) is an impregnation that greatly reduces the penetration of oil, grease and dirt. This product is specially made for bluestone such as Belgian Bluestone and Chinese Bluestone. This product is water-based and solvent-free and therefore not harmful to the environment.
Lithofin MN Hardstone Protection penetrates deep into the pores of the surface and immediately forms an invisible film. This film reduces the absorption capacity of the natural stone. This prevents water, oil and grease, among other things, from penetrating the stone. This makes it more difficult for stains to form. After you have used this product, new contaminants remain on the surface of the stone due to this protection, where they can then be easily wiped off.
This product offers protection to, among other things, kitchen worktops, window sills, counter tops and table tops.
How does the Lithofin Mn Hardstone Protection Protector work?
Before you treat the surface with Lithofin MN Hardstone Protection Protector, you must first clean the surface thoroughly. This can be done with Lithofin Dirt Solvent.
1) Shake the packaging well before use.
2) Apply evenly and in sufficient quantities. Mop the product several times for an even distribution on finely ground surfaces.
3) After 10 minutes, wipe off the product with a squeegee. Wipe off streaks and puddles completely with a lint-free cloth before allowing it to dry.
If you use this product as a follow-up treatment. Apply thinly and rub in with a lint-free cloth until the stone is dry.
Our advice is always to do a test area first so that you know how the product works and reacts to the stone.
Note !
Before first use, we always recommend trying a test on an invisible surface. Visible color darkening may occur when using this product. Bluestone is inherently acid-sensitive. Polished surfaces may appear matt or develop light spots.
Lithofin MN Hardstone Protection does not protect against the effects of acids from lemons, among other things, so you should always be careful. Our advice is to always use a cutting board when working with acidic products on Bluestone.
