How do you process the Moeller HMK P333 bluestone oil?
The surface should be cleaned for the best effect of the oil. be thoroughly clean and dry. It is recommended to clean the surface thoroughly with Moeller HMK R155 and then allow the surface to dry thoroughly. The surface may have a maximum residual moisture content of 2-4%, depending on the substrate, this is usually after 24 hours. Is the surface clean and dry? Then the oil can be applied. Always shake the HMK P333 Hardstone Oil well before use! Apply HMK P333 thinly and evenly to the absorbent surface with a clean cloth or roller with short bristles. On a weakly absorbent surface, only apply HMK P333 hard stone oil with a dry, lint-free (cleaning) cloth. Do not treat the entire surface at once, but do this part by part.
HMK P333 Hardstone Oil that has not been absorbed into the hardstone after approximately 10 to 15 minutes of drying time must be completely removed with another clean, lint-free ( cleaning cloths or cleaning paper (do not use the same cloth with which it was applied) until it no longer absorbs. None of the bluestone oil should remain on the surface, otherwise it can dry out and become sticky. If necessary, treat highly absorbent surfaces again after approximately 24 hours.
