Moeller HMK P727 Marble Polishing Powder is a powdery polishing agent (ingredients based on oxalates) for treating and renewing the polishing layer of marble and limestone.
How do you use this marble polishing powder?
Read the label before using it product thoroughly. Work on a clean, dry and stain-free surface. Before you start, test the product on an inconspicuous area or a loose tile to determine the effect, quantity and working time. Not all marble types can be easily polished with polishing powder, deep scratches cannot be polished away. HMK P727 contains an acid! Ensure good body protection during processing.
Switch off the underfloor heating and allow the feed to cool to its natural temperature and clean it thoroughly. Thoroughly wet the surface to be treated with water to which a small amount of HMK R155 Soil Cleaner - acid-free has been added. Sprinkle some polishing powder and immediately start the polishing treatment until the desired gloss effect is achieved.
Always work on small areas at once. Immediately after polishing, remove the polishing compound and rinse it thoroughly with water to which HMK R155 Soil Cleaner - acid-free has been added, in a ratio of 1:10 with water. Do not let it dry completely because of the risk of stains. If the paste becomes too thick, water can be added again. Protect sensitive material such as paint, wood and the like, ensure a good cover. Process the product in accordance with the instructions of Moeller Stone Care!
Work on smaller surfaces with a hand polisher (e.g. 120 revolutions/minute) and a white nylon polishing pad (e.g. HMK Z986, 150 mm). Work on larger surfaces with a disc polisher (approx. 145 revolutions/minute) and a white nylon polishing pad (e.g. HMK Z988, 400 mm).
Afterwards rinse with plenty of water, to which HMK P324 Noble Soap - Floor Soap has been added and dry polishing with a white or red pad.
The consumption of the marble polishing powder is approximately 30 to 40 m2 per kilo.
