What repairs is it suitable for?
This repair kit is ideal for filling small pits, dents and indentations in surfaces. The maximum repair depth per layer is 1 mm. For deeper damage, for example 4 mm, the repair should be built up in several layers.
Damage to edges or corners can be more difficult, or sometimes impossible, to repair with this kit because the product is primarily designed to be used as a filler.

Tips & Tricks for the best results
- Preparation: Remove any sharp edges with sandpaper or a Dremel. Make sure the surface is clean and free from grease before starting the repair. Dirt around the damaged area may otherwise remain visible afterwards.
- Temperature: For horizontal repairs, the gel works better when it is slightly warmer. You can warm the syringe briefly under your armpit or under lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly afterwards. For vertical repairs, cooling the gel in the refrigerator beforehand can help prevent it from running.
- Sanding: Use a sanding block where possible, or fold the sandpaper around a wooden spatula. Apply only light pressure to avoid causing additional scratches.
- Rust: Completely remove any rust before starting the repair.
- For enamel: If the black underlying rolled layer of the enamel is still intact and there is no rust, lightly sand this layer before carrying out the repair to ensure good adhesion.
